Portraits
Whilst my approach is to shoot naturally and capture the moment spontaneously, I do offer more formal photographs too.
My preference is to use natural light and surroundings where possible (and weather permitting). Using a studio is also an option. As well as photographing portraits of families and friends, I also offer shoots that span a period of time – see Bump to 6 months and Day in the Life.
Packages for portrait shoots can suit most sizes of budget – there is no fixed price structure for any of my portrait options. If you’re interested just get in touch and we can have an initial conversation about what you have in mind. We’ll also discuss whether you would simply like the images presented on a DVD, or would like to have a photo book or individual prints.
Bump to 6 Months
This pretty much speaks for itself. Here, I follow the progress of a mum-to-be, from a bump to the handful that is a 6-month-old child!

Take a look through the images of Lily to get a feel for this option. The shooting can be as flexible as you, the parents, wish. My standard package consists of a shoot with mum, dad and bump, a session after the birth, followed by shoots at 3 and 6 months. Giving you four sets of prints. Of course, you could choose to have more shoots, at 9 months and 1 year.
Due to individual requirements and different amounts of time spent shooting, an idea of cost is provided after I’ve had an initial conversation with you. At the end of the process you’ll come away with some wonderful images of your ‘new addition’.
A Day in the Life
My aim here is to capture a typical day for an individual. This could consist of many different activities, particularly where a child is concerned, and some of these activities can be new experiences. This option works well as a special keepsake of memories, or simply framed and hung on the wall. Take a look at my shoot with Isaac to see how a day in the life can unfold.
Of course, this option can work for a toddler, teenagers, market stall trader or pinstripe-suited businessman – all types of people and all different ages.
